UNSW Engineering is inviting all UNSW students and staff to collaboratively tackle some of the world’s toughest challenges. With a real opportunity to develop and master your entrepreneurial, innovative and collaborative skills across four tracks held on separate days:
- Responding to climate change – 28 November
- Health, knowledge and learning – 29 November
- How we live – 30 November
- A secure future – 1 December
“Engineering Disruption” will have you immersed in great ideas, human-centered design and possible breakthrough global solutions.
Advisers will be on hand to guide participants through the process of:
- Team forming
- Idea storming
- Lean canvas
- Subject matter expert consultation
- Product development
- Testing and validation
- Pitch development.
At the end of each day, teams will pitch for their place in the Grand Challenges Pitch Final. Up to 10 finalists will present at a major event to a judging panel the following week.
